A family weekend up Highway 4 from Krabi: waterfalls, a mangrove river, an old tin-mining town, and a cave. Seven of these we actually went to — those carry a verdict and, where we know it, a real price. The other nine were on our list and didn't happen; they're kept here as leads, not recommendations.
